Apparel stores and showrooms have a unique opportunity to make a really personal connection with their customers. The design of an apparel space should be carefully crafted to speak directly to your customers. In successful retail apparel stores, the target audience is clearly defined. In showrooms, your design should speak to both the buyers as well as their customers. With thoughtful planning and design choices, buyers will feel comfortable and at home in your showroom and take time to consider each piece in the line. At the same time, buyers need to feel that your line would be perfect for their clientele.

- Windows at Arnold Helman
The windows at the Arnold Helman showroom were designed to be eye catching but also easy to maintain. As lines and styles can change from one show to the next, we chose to use a loose line drawing image of women instead of literal photographs or mannequins. The images on acrylic panels are shown over iridescent silk taffeta panels. Exotic flowers top off the design.
- Front Desk at Arnold Helman
The desk was designed for receiving customers during markets, not as a working desk, so the desk was designed to fit into the look of the showroom.
- Arnold Helman Show Spaces
The clothing from each line is stored in bunkers and displayed on bamboo rods on the wall. This design creates a clean, calm presentation space where buyers can easily focus on the garments being shown. The open seating allows buyers to come and go on their own schedules as they rotate through the lines.
