I have designed many seasonal retail showrooms across the country. Mass merchants now claim the low end of the marketplace. Savvy specialty retailers are stepping up their showroom presentation to fire customer’s imaginations. Manufacturers selling to specialty retailers now make ever more arresting products that will be successful when retailers present them in a way that illustrates their special features.

Hearthwarmings showroom was conceived as rooms in a home with fireplaces. This setting features an outstanding portrait gas fireplaces with a working whirlpool tub and tumbled marble surround.

This display combines the irresistible forces of fire and water. The gas fireplace with upgrades is finished with a simple slate surround. The readymade fountain with slate above looks built-in.

The black door opens to a central closet for electrical connects. The manmade river rock and trim pieces set the scene for the key feature, a large pond with cast metal sculptures and fountains.

The eating space was defined by a wrought iron gazebo and beds of tropical flowers. The outdoor fireplace, placed diagonally on the corner is backed by a bed showing wrought iron edging, lanterns and a gazing ball.
